Tutorial Information:

The National Microbial Pathogen Data Resource (NMPDR), www.nmpdr.org, announces a fall tutorial on the use of the NMPDR resources for pathogen genome data mining, subsystem analysis and annotation. We host the following strains of pathogens as well as an additional 286 genomes that support our method of annotation through comparative analysis

 Main NMPDR Organisms:

This will be a two-day tutorial with the first day devoted to an introduction to the NMPDR and demonstrations of data mining and analysis using the system. Day two will be devoted to small group sessions led by NMPDR curators where attendees can pose questions, problems, and research areas and learn how to use the system to perform investigations.

Attendance is limited to the first 25 registrants.
