DOC

Nonlinear programming, multiobjective, and discrete variable optimization

DOC is a control program that can be used in conjunction with DOT (see separate entry) and user-supplied subroutines to produce a powerful customized optimization program. Once this program has been created, the user can change the mix of constraints, the weighting of objectives, the output format, etc., by simply changing a few input parameters to DOC. The software is written in ANSI Fortran.

Additional features of DOC include parametric studies and optimization based on curve fits. The data fitting capabilities are useful for optimization based on the results of physical experiments.
