MODULOPT

Unconstrained problems and problems with simple bounds

This collection consists of two subcollections of Fortran programs: test problems and algorithms. It is filled and maintained by members of a French club (the Modulopt club), which includes both users of optimization and algorithm designers. As a result, the test problems are usually "real-life" ones, possibly experimental. There is a well-defined format for communication between test problems and algorithms. The standard is at present based on Fortran 77, and a major requirement of the programs is that they be highly portable.
