Nonlinear programming

The NOVA Optimization System is used for solution and optimization of general constrained nonlinear programming problems within engineering, science, and business. NOVA facilities include application building environment, flow-sheeting system, and solution engine. User models are linked with NOVA to create applications. Models may be developed in a modular fashion, then connected using NOVA's flow-sheeting facility. NOVA can therefore be used to create and maintain large, complex models. Optimization applications with tens of thousands of variables/equations are currently being solved with NOVA. Companion products for modeling chemical plant processes and for solving models containing differential equations are available.
